Yesterday evening, after mixing for 9 days (14-16hrs each), we finished the new Dark Suns album and I can proudly say that this has been an amazing record to be working on.
The guys were super nice and so is the music. If you’re in any way into prog music… Porcupine Tree, Steven Wilson, Riverside, A Perfect Circle…this sort of thing but are open minded to brass and great, alternative, almost pop-like melodies and complex rhythms…watch this space! We still have a few tweaks to do in order to complete it but what we have so far is a fantastic sounding album.
